Question about Inspectorbots Mega Bot Wireless 4WD Robot Platform Kit (RB-Inp-01)

Hi Everybody,

I am trying to find out what the battery life of this Inspectorbots Mega Bot Wireless 4WD Robot Platform Kit is. I feel that I have looked through the description and the specifications and all that I have found so far is that the batteries are rechargeable and that they can be recharged by using a 12V DC output from an automobile. Also, this model clearly has four wheels. Yet, it advertises a 21.5 inch "track". Is this the wheel diameter? Or are there actually tracks that can be purchased for this model?

Thank you very much! I'm new at this and have been put to a task of finding a track or wheeled robot to hold 130 pounds and can operate for an hour with a remote control. Trying to see what else is out there before I try to build one from the ground up.

We’ll get back to you ASAP on that.

“The basic Mega Bot with its two, stock 18Ah batteries will run for approximately 45 min under normal conditions.
The battery upgrade (four 18Ah batteries) will increase the Ah to 36Ah and approximately double the run time.
However, many factors come into play including the payload, the road conditions, driving style etc.
The number 21.5” is the “track”, or the distance between the center of the tires as viewed from the front or rear."

Sincerely,
