I received the unit three days ago. When I first got it I plugged it into my computer, a Win7 desktop. Everything worked fine after installing the FCT software and the drivers. I was able to make changes and flash them to the quadrino no problem.
I already had a COM1 port on my desktop and the Quadrino showed up as COM3.
Since I did that I plugged the BlueTooth module in one of the serial ports, port 1. I could not see the bluetooth module on my Samsung S7. I read that there is a problem with the baud rate setting in the quadrino so I attempted to change that. I started the FCT program no problem. Everything is good until I get to the Flash screen. I do have the drivers installed, they worked three days ago. The computer no longer sees the quadrino. I tried the auto-detect, tried rebooting, reinstalling the FCT software. COM1 is the only port it sees.
Then I tried it on my Win10 laptop. I did a fresh install of the drivers. Nothing I did sees the quadrino. I removed the bluetooth module and tried it again…same result.
I have probably tried different things about a dozen or more times on both machines.
The lights on the Quadrino are flashing, there is a solid blue led on the starboard side forward and a solid green on the starboard side aft. On the port side forward there is a blue LED flashing fast and aft there is a red led flashing slowly. When I first plug it in there are a couple of LED’s mid port, one green and one yellow that flash for a little bit and then stop.
On neither computer does the Quadrino show up as a USB device, and I don’t see anything in Device Manager on either machine that looks like it “sees” it.
This was so easy three days ago. I did notice that the USB port on the Quadrino is a little loose, a plug pulls out very easily but again, all the lights are on.
God this is a frustrating hobby. Every time I turn around something isn’t working like its supposed to. Thanks for listening!
