Quadrino nano won't connect to usb port

I have not been able to have the Quadrino Nano FCT firmware recognize my usb connection. I always receive a message: ‘Firmware upload failed! The given port name does not start
with COM/com or does not resolve to a valid serial port.
Parameter name: portName’ The red and green usb leds on the Nano never come on. I am using a Lenovo ThinkPad /Windows 7. Any suggestions? Thank you, Peter

Did you install the USB driver to your laptop ?
You can download the CP210 drivers from HERE.
