I bought this item:
QFN / QFP / TQFP / LQFP to DIP Breakout Board
and according to them item description, this item is “Compatible with 16pins to **80pins **of QFN, QFP, TQFP and LQFP”. I have a QFN 80 package and this item seems to be incompatible with this package. The thermal pad of the package shorts all the pins of the adapter.
Is this item really compatible with QFN 80 package? mosis.com/files/Packaging/P … 80a_mo.pdf
Please advise,
Bahaa
Your microcontroller has 20 pins per side, whereas the product you purchased is for 10 inner pins and 10 outer pins per side.
You should consider the following:

Your chip seems to have a 0,5mm pitch, as does this breakout board.
Hi CBenson,
According to the item description, the item I bought is compatible with QFN-80 packages. The package I have (datasheet posted in my previous reply) is a QFN-80 package. I understand from your reply that the item description is incorrect. Is this true?
Furthermore, the breakout board you posted is not compatible with QFN packages and seems to be only compatible with QFP packages.
Regards,
Bahaa
We have written to the manufacturer of the breakout board and will update you here as soon as we receive a reply. Apologies for the inconvenience.
