What PWM frequency should I use to control the motor?

DC Motors manufacturers don’t usually provide a PWM Frequency range that their motors can work with. This is the case for the 12V, 12RPM 8110.2oz-in HD Planetary Gearmotor.
Here is few points to consider when applying a PWM signal to a DC Motor.
