PWM Bridge?

I would like to use a wired joystick for the project that I am working on but the position that the servo will be placed requires that I use a wireless signal. Is there some kind of wireless bridge that I can use to send the PWM signal from the servo? Perferably I would be looking for around 12 channels but almost anything could be worked around (hopefully).

Also does anyone know of any single axis switches, like the rocker zoom switches on camera’s that output a PWM signal?

anyone? please this is sort of urgent…

really kinda sparse on details there sparky as you don’t really say what the joystick is plugged into or what the other end has for power and stuff, but as just a wag if you are using a laptop or PC on the joystick end then perhaps look at using a lynxmotion ssc-32 controller and a bluetooth wireless link using the bluetooth stuff from sparkfun? search for bluetooth on this forum and there is some information, as well as a BRAT project that is also wireless using bluetooth as well.

(Dodgy sketch)

Unit 1 -))) (((- Terminal ----------- Unit 2

Control Panel

Unit 1 is 11 channels
Unit 2 is 1 channel
… means nothing, pushing wire across to correct place
— means wired link
-))) (((- means wireless link

If you understand my sketch, unit 1 needs to be wirelessly linked across while unit 2 is fine to be a wired link. At the terminal both will be mergered to run along a multicore back to the control panel.

What I am looking for is a wireless link between the terminal and unit 1 for the right amount of channels. I would be looking at using a Roboteq controller now.

I would also like to know, what is the biggest length of cable that a PWM signal can be sent over?
