Does anybody have info on the pulse rate or width sent to a servo motor from the h-bridge chip in the servo? I’m interested in knowing if the pulses are sent at a constant rate with the width of the pulse changing, or if the pulses take on some other form.
I believe the pulses are full 0% to 100% PWM at 50hz. Digitals will be at a higher rate.
Thanks for the info. Just looking at using a “missing pulse” setup with a 555/556 timer chip like below to convert the servo board output from a variable pulse to “on” if pulses are detected and “off” if there are no pulses. For use with controlling relays or h-bridges with large motors that would rather be on or off instead of pulsed.
