PS2 V4 controller pairing issues

I recently purchased the Lynxmotion PS2 V4 controller kit. I am having trouble trying to pair the remote with the receiver. I have noticed the breakout board receiver is a V3 and my controller was sold as a V4. Could this be the issue as to why they are not pairing?
I have tried the examples using both the PSX and PSXnew libraries in Arduino.
Any help would be greatly appreciated…

Hi ER7,

Can you provide us with some good quality pictures of your connections ?
It’s important to install Lynxmotion’s specific PS2 library from Lynxmotion’s GitHub HERE.

I’ve just ran a test

  1. BotBoarduino, Arduino compatible board similar to a UNO.
  2. Installed the library in the Arduino folder
  3. Connected the receiver to the Arduino as follow:
  • D6: ATT / Attention
  • D7: CMD / Command
  • D8: DAT / Data
  • D9: CLK / Clock
    GND and 5V as well

When powering the Arduino, the receiver should have a RED LED steady and a GREEN LED flashing, once you power the Transmitter the GREEN LED should stop flashing.
The example was loaded and work like it should.

Waiting on your reply.
