PS2 controller to bot board 2 with bap-28

I’m new when it comes to programming and robotics, and I just bought the bot board 2 and ssc-32 a while back and would like to start using them for small robotic projects. How do I go about hooking the ps2 adapter to the bot board and configuring the movements of the controller with the movements of a hexapod or quadrapod gait? Forgive me if I just wanted to get straight to the point but i couldn’t find any documentation on it, and if someone could at least provide that it would be greatly appreciated.

There is lots of information up on the forums and on the main Lynxmotion website about PS2 controllers and the like.

Example: If you look for the electronic guides for micro controllers: lynxmotion.com/images/html/build034.htm

LIkewise if you look at the on line users guide for the Atom Bot Board 2 lynxmotion.com/images/html/build151.htm you will see instructions for hooking up the PS2 and the different colors of the different versions of the ps2 controller wires.

Again if you look at the different assembly guides for the different hex robots that Lynxmotion sells, they give you instructions and programs for using a PS2. Things like Powerpod or the code for the Phoenix hex.

Good Luck

we used the tutorial for getting the PS2 controller and we are still recieving no power to our controller

Not enough information to help here. Things Like how is it wired in? What type controller? Picture of wiring? What type of power is running to board? What are the power jumpers set to…
