Prowler 4WD Robot Kit

I was given this Prowler kit as a gift, but didnt know it was just the RV platform without any set of controls. I dont know enough about robotics. Does anyone know what parts I need just to be able to power and steer the unit? I dont need anything fancy, just the basics to have a mobile platform.

Nice gadget you got your hands on.
You could control the rover relatively easily with an IR remote and an Arduino.
Note that this is the cheapest method and the one with the lowest range.

Note that you will absolutely need a motor controller in this case if you don’t want to blow up the Arduino.

Another solution is to have the motors controlled via RC.
