I just want to drop a huge thanks and wonderful job to Robot Dude and the rest of Lynxmotion. I started this year getting into robotics, I kinda fell into it working on some security scanning/security game scoring applications that I was working on using the Gumstix. Next thing I know I find a link to humanoid and honestly was amazed at how far robotics have come. I now have the bug and started out with Lego Mindstorms, then the Bioloid and I have the Futaba RBT-1. I’ve been playing around with the programming and using the motion editors and soon decided I wanted to start hacking the electronics - it has been ages since I messed with electronics and things have come so far.
I hop on the Lynxmotion forums and learn about SSC-32, the bot board and decided this is a great way to progress along the path of putting together my very own Humanoid. So I get the BRAT and I find all these wonderful examples, well detailed and seriously details forum posts. Thanks to Lynxmotion I can safely say I am totally hooked. I sure Jim appreciates the fact that I can’t stop ordering stuff - I am trying to wire up everything and test out stuff - and each time I think of something I want to try I turn to Lynxmotion and there is a great example to help me along the path.
Anyway Jim thanks and keep creating new gadgets, I’ll probably buy most of them - My wife just loves seeing the Lynxmotion on the boxes UPS drops off.
