I just wanted to ask that, what should I do to move the body by 0.1cm increments in Z/X-directions using the Z/X Rotation spin buttons in PEP? By default I do not know how much the body travel in either direction for a single click, but I want to modify it to 0.1cm. Does PEP has any step value field for X & Z rotations as well just like the All Legs Step value field?

Hi Umar,
Translation (direction) are defined in cm/mm increments and all rotations are defined in deg. You can’t define body rotation in cm, simply because rotation affects more than one axis.
I’m not sure if I know what you mean here, but if you know what axis you want to be as reference and the coordinate for the reference point it should be possible to define rotation in cm. But PEP does not support that, it is possible to do though.
The step value for rotation can be adjusted with the Set angle spinbuttons, and can be set down to 0.1 deg.
hi zenta. from looking in on my Stalker project you will see that i need to add values for the 45 degree coxa tilt, i have been though the manual and browsed over the PEP and the only thing i can see that i would need to change 'for this tilt, would be this:

obviously when you built the PEP you never implimented or invisioned this coxa tilt so i dont blame you if you cannot help.

Did you check out the “IK Phoenixâ€
Great! Now see what it does on the main tab. You need to be able to rotate the coxa without making the tars move up or down.
I’ve no idea if you need to change more.

seems to look ok. i have re-measured the angle to its exact degree = 43°
but the problem i am having is converting this into BasicAtom as my sequencer program isnt working properly!!! 
cannot find disk… my life gets better!
would someone be so kind and export this to Atom!!?

If iv said this before Zenta ill say it again, the PEP is a Great bit of work!
although im having a few problems getting the files to converted etc (user error or im missing something) think its because i was running it on my laptop and when i got my new pc i copied the program and i think something has gone missing or something! anyway the program is really well presented and built!
i wouldnt ask you to program my project in anyway at all, (although you may do a better job) but i feel i need to ask for help with getting the coxa tilt values into my BasicAtom Code!

To solve your challenge about the Stalker I don’t think it can be easily solved by doing modifications in the IK sheet. I’ll say more in your Stalker project thread.

or does it have to be 2000 or 2003 ?

I am runnin excel 2007 and can make PEP work. The version of pep I have is 2.02LM beta.
But when it first loads nuthin works. I finally found there was a message toward the top of the window that said something like:
Security warning: Some active content has been disabled. There is a button near this message called “Options…” In here is an option to enable the active content…

the error i get is a runtime error ,13, type mismatch
if i click on debug it then shows me this line,
LastSeqNmbr = Worksheets("Ind.Sekvenser").Cells(RowCounter, 3) ' Store the value..
this happens after i start the pep ok and then load up any of the pre made files of yours ie phoenix 3,4,5

By using photobucket or other websites that support picture upload, then you can post a link to the picture by using the IMG command.

There is something wrong in the import process, did you do exactly what I described in the manual on page 15?
In the import process (when opening the .csv file) remember to select semicolon delimited cells, it seems like the semicolon still are in between the values on your sheet.

on my version of excel you just open the file there does not seem to be an option to select semicolon delimited
i will look around in the options ,
it just opens up an explorer to find the file you want to open
then opens it up in another window
i have followed the manual it might just be 2007 that the problem ??
theres another thing i noticed when i go to open lets phoenix 5.csv excel
cant see it unless i select all files it ??
