Hi

im kinda new … I need help selecting the right products to buy from this web site

what my project is … Is to control the position of two motors that are the same (either servo or stepper etc) and it will have a keypad to input the angel of rotation of each motor and to display it on a lcd screen …i am hoping to use a micro controller preferably a pic…and to top it of i want it to have solar power as well not to power the whole system but to contribute …

I need help on choice of motor that has position feedback …

A suitable micro controller that is easy to programme …not dat fond of c++ lol

also any knowledge one might share with me …would be very usefull

There are many possible solutions, so rather than listing them all, here’s one to give you a start:

]ROMEO Microcontroller/:m]
]Solar Charger Shield/:m]
]LCD Shield/:m]
]LiPo Battery/:m]
]Solar Panel/:m]
]HS-322HD Servo/:m]
You could input the angle via the LCD keypad shield, or use a potentiometer.

Considerations:
Check which pins each shield uses before purchasing them - ensure that pins used are not used by other shields or devices
The solar panel and LiPo battery may not be enough to power the setup - this requires experimentation
