Project cutting metal robot arm

The project is a magnet arm
were can I put a torch on them or plasma

The goal is cutting metal
moving the arm following a drawing in the computer or tablet .

Hi,

If I understand you correctly you want to attach a robotic arm with a plasma torch to a metallic object using a magnetic fastener and then cut into the object. Cutting with plasma is a nice robot application and since the plasma torch is very lightweight it does not require a robot with a lot of payload.

You can find an example of robotic cutting with plasma by searching for “plasma+cutting+of+pipes”" on Youtube. In this example the software IRBCAM is used (4x speedup).

The approach taken by IRBCAM is offline programming where you automatically create the robot program based on CAD/CAM. The choice of solution depends on multiple factors such as the shape, e.g. is it a pipe , beam, sheet and also if you have 3D CAD drawings or not. If your shapes and cuts are very parametric such as pipes or beams this can also simplify the process.
