I have the DFrobotshop v2 rover and would like to plug in code to be operated from my pc. The problem is the robotshop manual doesn’t accomadate for windows 8…??
Any suggestions?

The DFRobotShop Rover is based on the Arduino Uno, and unfortunately Microsoft has made installing the driver for Arduino Uno very difficult on Windows 8.
This post on the Arduino Forums explains the steps required to install the Arduino Uno driver.
Some customers have said that the Arduino Mega ADK driver will also work without requiring all those steps. Please let us know if you try this option and it works for you.
