Just got in my new Quadrino, I was able to flash it using the software fine but when I try to install the coding from Arduino IDE it says ‘not in sync’. How do I install the code package onto it so I can see the settings inside the MultiWii software. Thanks
The Firmware Configuration Tool doesn’t need the Arduino IDE as it will upload to the board by itself.
You don’t need to mess with Arduino IDE anymore (unless you really want to do so).
At the end of the FCT where you flash the board, there are two GUI (General User Interface) to choose from.
The standard MultiWiiConf and a nicer looking one WinGUI that we recommend that you use. That’s where you will set your flight controller’s flight characteristics.
Ok got it, all controls seem to work good, now how do I turn on the GPS, it shows it as inactive?
The GPS need to be set in the FCT software under “Options” first.
Once you have it “Active” you can set the flight mode you want under “RC Control Settings”.
awesome I guess the final question that I have is how do i start having the copter fly its programmed points and how do I take over manual control
Missions can be setup in the WinGUI and will be sent to the FC.
All flight modes can be triggered from AUX channels and that’s how you take or give the control.
That’s what I was thinkin so I began building a mission but it does not.allow me to upload, just create and save
Great its all comming together, just to verify… my first point should be “RTH” and last should “land”? And will the program take the copter off the ground or do I need to be in flight before starting the waypoints
Both are possible, depending on how you create your Waypoints.
