Problems with Sharp GP2D12 IR Sensor

hi, I bought Kit for autonoumous behavior and I have problems with IR sensor.

I downloaded the testing program, but it didn’t work, the problem was in line
“adin ax1, 2, AD_RON, right_detect”
It wrote “Error: FILE GP2D12BB.BAS(LINE 26) : [TOKEN ,] : Unexpected token type”
I couldn’t build it with 2 and AD_RON and with ax1, I could build it only as “adin p19, right_detect”
I tried codes posted in similar discussion here, but I only get numbers betwen for example 799-802. Other thing is, that I don’t know which pins to use. In the discussion here was that ax0-ax3 is p16-p19, so should I have used p16-p19 instead of ax0-ax3?

Do we really have to do the troubleshooting on two separate threads? Lets get your Scorpion problems fixed then we can tackle the sensor…
