I have an RF wireless gamepad controller which I would like to use with an arduino uno to control some motors.
items: Arduino Uno, (2) XbeePro, xbee explorer, xbee regulator and RF Wireless Gamepad. My current issue is that my Gamepad is no longer recognized by my computer and a COM connection.
Thank you for your response. That is correct about the COM port. I clicked on the link and was redirected to the Arduino Environment Development page. I will read up in there as I need as the understanding I can get. I do believe the controller is toast. Electronics and programming is so great and fragile.
If we understand correctly, when you connect your controller via USB to your computer, it is no longer seen as a COM port. If this is the case, then your controller is either broken or its bootloader has been corrupted. See the instructions here on how to correct the bootloader: arduino.cc/en/Tutorial/Bootloader
