Problem with brand new ssc32, some pins not working

Before we return it. We just got a ssc32 board by mail, brand new, and have a peculiar problem with it. Seems that pins 0-7 (first 8 pins) don’t work. All other pins do. Can we be overlooking something? Everything else works as expected.

This is one aspect that we can’t test in house before shipping. So look for any solder bridges on the multiplexer chip that does the first bank. Of course we will replace it, but this may be something that can be fixed on your end. Sorry about the problem with the board.

On first glance i all looks like it is supposed to. Perhaps you can give me tips as to where to look for, otherwise i am affraid i am have to return it.

Everytime we go to moves mode it keeps disabling servos…anyone have an idea what is causing this

I am assuming you are using RIOS?

This software requires a fast serial connection.

What USB to serial cable are you using?

Look at this thread.
