I hv been trying to use my SSC 32 to run my ESC. I figured that since both receiver output and SSC output is in the form of PPM signals it should be possible to run an ESC with SSC. My ESC is connected to a brushless DC motor (DualSky XM 450 ES). When I connected the ESC to the SSC and tried to run it first it did not move at all and then it rotated around 8–9 revolutions and stopped.Dunno whats going wrong. Any guesses??. Pls help out!!!
many brushless ESC for r/c require you to to hit both ends of the signal range before they enable the motor. they assume they reecieve power at no stick, expect you to go to full stick and then return to no stick at which time they enable the motor. don’t know if this is your problm or not but if you gave us more information, like what the make and model of your esc is, someone might be able to help more.
