Powering Arduino with MDD10A

I just received my Dual Channel 10A Motor Driver MDD10A from the RobotShop.

I want to use it with Arduino for my mobile robot. My question is how can I power Arduino from the board ?

(If I can’t… does that mean I need another smaller battery to power Arduino ? )

Hi,

The MDD10A doesn’t have a power output to power an external microcontroller like Arduino.
You can for example use this 7.4V 2200mAh Lipo Battery or this 9V Battery case with a 9V Alkaline battery.
Please remember to connect the Arduino GND to the MDD10A GND.
