Power Options for Voice Controlled Robot

Hi!

I require your help regarding a problem I’m encountering.

Description: Myself and a friend are creating a voice controlled robot with an arm. We have a power source for our arm but we are looking to use a 3WD omni base (listed below) and control that with an arduino uno board. We want to have the whole thing operate with batteries but are unsure what to use as this is our first robot project. The motors are 12VDC motors. Any help would be appreciated.

Hardware concerned:

3WD 48mm Omni-Directional Triangle Mobile Robot Chassis (Product Code : RB-Nex-110)

Arduino Uno

Robotic Arm Kit 4-Axis for Arduino (Product Code : RB-Suf-66)

Software concerned:

Troubleshooting steps already taken:

Thank you so much in advance for your help!

The motors on the 3WD Omni base you picked are running at 12V, 500mA at load for each.
For the motor controllers, you could use a Pololu DC Motor Driver 3A, 5V-28V- MC33926, which can supply up to 3A per channel (there’s two channel). You would need two, since you have 3 motors.
