We asked for your input via two polls recently concerning the view order of comments on LMR.
This is the result we received for members:
We therefore see that members prefer to keep the default order of comments for members to be Newest first in order to see recent comments easily. This will therefore remain as is. Please note, that users can still modify their preferred setting in any post by selecting Oldest or Newsest first. When this is set, the changes are made to you account and your saved setting remains for all posts.
Here are the results for guests that are not logged into LMR:
While the votes were close, we do see that many of you see the advantage of guests being able to read the oldest comments first and then be able to go forward in the pages in order to view all comments.
We will therefore go ahead and verify what is needed in order to implement this change.
We also received several ideas through these polls that we will gladly evaluate and have members vote on also in the future. Keep in mind that we are here to listen and are open to new ideas and opportunities.
