PLTW SSC-32U arm

I have 8 PLTW arms with one acting up.
It is a PLTW SSC-32U robotic arm purchase 2 years ago.

When the arm activated with FlowArm two strange things happen:

  1. the wrist servo starts to rotate from one extreme to the other on its own with no input from me. At time it will stop but if I adjust the wrist position (using FlowArm) it starts rotating on its own again.
  2. the hand servo starts to wave. It doesn’t travel its maximum possible movement like the wrist but it moves significantly (like it is waving).

The wrist issue happens on every start up.
The hand problem happens about 75 % of the time.

Any help would be appreciated.

Can you trace the connections from each servo back to the electronics and ensure te extension cables are plugged in correctly (even disconnect and reconnect), and ensure yellow to yellow, black to black). Double-check that it’s plugged into the board as well.
