We have purchased 16 Flowarm AL5D robotic arms. I personally built all 16. I have down loaded flowarm and the 232 servo sequencer utility.
I am able to get the SSC-32U board to detect using both types of software. If I plug one servo onto the board in position 0 it will work smoothly with either software.
As soon as I add more servos operation becomes spotty. With three servos connected to ports 0, 1, & 2, I can not predict what will happen. Maybe the servo will move maybe not.
Maybe a different servo will move. Maybe one or more servos will twitch and whine but not really move. I have tried to different arms connected to two different computers. I have tried both computers in student mode and logged in as an administrator. The computers are running Windows 10 with 8GB for RAM. Is there a driver I’m missing? Did I do something wrong on the install? Are there known Software compatibility issues? We use Autodesk Inventor, on these computers along with standard office software.
