Hello, does anyone know what kind of glue is used to fasten Pleo’s skin to itself (around the neck) and to the face (around the eyes and nose)? And if this glue or glues are non-standard, where to get them?
Thanks, John

Not at the moment. The ‘wound’ is that I have completely disassembled Pleo in an attempt to figure out how he works, and if possible, fix him (he was dead when I got him). If I ever want to get him back together again, I will have to 1) resolder the capacitive sensor wires to their lugs (not a problem since I have an electronics background), 2) replace the capacitive sensors on the top of the head and under the jaw since I had to slice them in half to get the head apart (I’m hoping that metal ductwork tape will work) and 3) glue the skin to the nose, around the eyes and feet, and to the tip of the tail, as well as glue the head/neck skin where it overlaps the body skin.

We could suggest Cyanoacrylate glue (Krazy glue) and a piece of wax paper to prevent the skin from gluing itself to Pleo’s skelleton. This really depends on the nature of Pleo’s wound.
Do you have a picture of the wound?
Another alternative is polyurethane glue, although we do not know the exact makeup of Pleo’s skin so this may not work all that well.
Results may varry.
