Can I put 2 of them on this motor controller each robotshop.com/en/pololu-moto … v-15a.html ?
I think it should be fine because the stall current at 12V for the motors is 5A and the motor controller is good for 15A, so even if both motors stall at 10A total i’m still good, can someone confirm this?
Each motor would consume around 1.5A max continuously, and the motor controller can provide up to 15A continuous current. You should even be able to connect up to 9 motors with a single controller.
Note however that the controller only has one channel and cannot control the speed and direction of two motors separately (they would receive the same signal).
We should have that motor available shortly on the RobotShop website (RB-Pol-283).
