Hello,

I currently have a Asco Solenoid Valve, 8264G009-6VDC, Brass Body, 1/8” NPT, normally closed

this will be powered by a 6v rechargable battery and set on a momentary toggle switch.

My question is can anyone reccommend a wireless transmit receive kit that would work to activate and deactive this selonoid?

It is a normally closed. When i hodl the toggle it will open. when i release the toggle I want it to close.

Hi James,

Welcome to the RobotShop Forum. It depends on how the solenoid operates. If it’s a simple on/off, you can probably use a wireless relay.
If you need on/off/rev, it is multi-channel. You would need some sort of input device on the transmitter end (can be a button / switch / microcontroller etc).

You should be able to use the wireless relays, but you will need to determine how you want to control the device. If your device operates at 6V, you can use a power regulator. The other option is a bit harder in that you would need an input device (button for example), microcontroller, transmitter, receiver and second microcontroller.
