Note: I believe you asked this question on the Basic Micro forums (forums.basicmicro.net/post45958.html#p45958 ) as well. Earlier today I tried to give some suggestions on how to wire it up.
But as I mentioned there, you did not mention what type of PS2 you are using. Is it a Lynxmotion PS2? If so is it a Version 1 or the newer Version 2 Like: http://www.lynxmotion.com/images/product/large/rc-01%20v2.jpg
What type of wire are you trying to use to connect it up? If I assume new setup and a V2 PS2, the actual board that is sticking out of the receiver is one of these:
If correct, I would take one of the servo extension wires (you will remove the Male to Male connectors from them). Take the first one and plug the Black wire into the receiver where the pin is labeled DAT. So Red will go on CMD and Yellow on ATT. Take the other cable and plug the black into the GND pin, Rd will go to +5v and Yellow to CLK.
Looking at the new Arc32, look at the manual (downloads.basicmicro.com/downloa … _B0010.pdf) page 9 for the Aux2 connector information. Now take the first cable and plug it into the Aux2 connector pins 2/4/6 (P40-P42), with Black plugging into P40. On the 2nd cable you will want to remove the yellow wire from the loose ends connector. I usually use something like an Exacto knife to lift up the retaining tab to extract the pin from the connector. Plug this yellow wire into Aux 2 pin 8 (P43). I would then take the connector and plug the two remaining wires int Aux1 pins 7 and 8, with the Black to pin 7 (Gnd) and the red wire to Pin 8 (VCC).
