IT isn’t really meaningful to “adjust the current” on a normal power supply; the circuit will take the amount of current it needs up to the maximum the supply can provide. That is what the current rating on a power supply like that means: the MAX current it can provide.
There exists a current limiting type of supply where you can adjust the maximum amount the supply can provide. That is useful for troubleshooting where there may be a defective component or a short circuit. It allows you to set a limit to prevent damage or fires. IT doesn’t appear that supply has a current limiter.
