Pinch error robot 3

On May 14, 2022 we bought a Whisker 3. Never had problems again until last week. The pinch detector is failing so the robot won’t turn. The yellow light is on very fast I have already tried everything like switching off the robot for a few hours and cleaning it completely but nothing helped.

Is there any possibility that there is a solution to this problem?

Please provide us with your order number or a copy of the invoice.

Does the blue light blink slowly if you press the “Reset” button?

We will also need to see the 3 pairs of contact pins shown in the following videos:
Anti-Pinch Pins:

Bonnet’s Pin:

Base’s Pin:

No need to take them out of the robot, we only need to see them from the outside.

Thank you for your replies, here are my answers to your questions:

  • yes the blue light flashes slowly when I press the reset button
    -in my message I have already given the serial number here again= SN: LR3CI446688
    Model: LR3C-1000-CE

do have one more small note, if i have to turn the screws to take pictures of the inside of the cabinet doesn’t my warranty expire ?

In this case, the DFI sensor and the 3 sets of pins will need to be replaced.

We can’t see a date on the invoice that you have attached so please send us a PDF copy of the invoice with the date to confirm the warranty.

Your robot is indeed under warranty so we will send you a new DFI sensor and 3 sets of pins.
