i want to ask if i can connect LED only to G and V.
is 6v fine for picaxe
also tell me which kind of jumper cable should i use to connect the two wires from LED to G and V.

I think a lower voltage is suggested but for me 6V works.
As for the jumper cable, it depends what you are using…how can i know? Are you using the picaxe starter board?

I can vouch for the pixaxe 08m’s being 6v tolerent. I’ve run several of mine using 4 1.5v akaline cells without issue. You can use a diode if you wanted to though tho reduce the voltage by 0.6v. They should be easy to come by.
