Phoenix communication error

I seems to be having a random problem that started out of no where. I had my botboard ii and ssc-32 all updated with new code and everything was running good and I could control the robot just find then it rs dimly stopped. What it is doing is now the botboard ii is continually beeping and I noticed the ssc-32 light would only stay on for a second and then turn off. I know the beeping means the ps2 controller isn’t hooked up but when I unplug the ssc32 from the botboard ii it doesn’t beep. I also get the default program for the ssc-32 which it places the servos lets go for a second when’s it’s lights on then the light turns of and the servos go to all 1500. I don’t really know what is going on… I think it is more between communication between the controllers because the ssc32 green light stay on by it’s self and the botboard ii stops beeping. Idk what’s going on please give me sometips and trouble shooting ideas maybe.

How have you powered it.? Separate 9v and 6v for vs and vl?

Separate power I have a 7.4v lipo for the logic and a bigger 7.4v lipo with a Ubec to 6v for servo power. I believe it is the connect between the boards. I just tried unplugging the ps2 receiver and then hooked up the rx tx lines and still get the beeping and the light turns on the ssc32 once then turns off.

Slow down and use more punctuation. Hard to read…

We will need to see images of your wiring. Have you simply checked the batteries in the PS2 controller?

i know how to post a problem. This wasn’t an wiring issue I was just looking for some troubleshooting tips and seeing as it was working perfectly for a few days then randomly did this. I found the problem tho. I took a part the robot and noticed the pins that connect the transmitter down where pretty loose. So, I just squished the connectors to make a tighter fit and now the thing is working.
