I’m looking to get three PGM36 motors, but I’m struggling to find accessories. I can’t see mounting hardware, and there appears to be an 8mm hub, but it’s not clear what wheels, or reducing hub I can use to get to a 6mm or 4mm axial. (Having said that, I do want to try omni wheels, and it looks like the “8mm Screw Hub” will get me attached to the “100mm Omnidirectional Wheel”). Any comments/feedback appreciated.
Unfortunately we have not released a 90 degree mounting bracket at this time, but it is in the works.
The shaft diameter is 8mm, and the following fits well: robotshop.com/en/8mm-screw-hub.html
This is compatible with many of the omni wheels from Nexus and Andymark.

Do you have a 4mm version of this adapter?
@paynterf Welcome to the RobotShop Community. The original question was regarding the PGM36 motor and brackets… which hub are you talking about and what do you want to connect it to?
Thanks for the quick response! I got this 100mm omni wheel from you recently, and am looking for a way to mate it to a motor with a 4mm d-flat shaft
TIA,
Frank
Although it uses a common hub mounting pattern, the smallest bore diameter I’ve seen from Nexus or elsewhere is 6mm. Don’t know of any out of the box method for connecting that wheel to a 4mm shaft. Keep in mind that wheel (and corresponding mounting pattern) are meant to support quite a bit of weight, which 4mm wouldn’t be the best choice for.
In my case, the larger diameter is more for ground clearance than weight bearing capability, but thanks anyway.

It’s a fairly simply hub design to go from a solid shaft to that mounting pattern. if you have access to a 3D printer, the design itself would take a few minutes. Since you indicate there’s not much weight, plastic should be ok.
Yep - I have two of them (3D printers) sitting on my workbench, so that’s probably the way to go
If your shaft has a D-shape, try to integrate that into the design rather than just circular with set screw. You can even create a clamping effect with some creativity.
I have something like that already on my robot (see this post). I think I should be able to copy/paste the hub section from this design into an adapter design, and tighten the setscrew before mounting the omni wheel onto the adapter. We’ll see
