PDF file for SSC-32U

Just got my new SSC-32U. Nice improvements! I’ve been using SSC-32’s from the first versions and have been very happy with them.

I’m up and running on the USB connection first; after remembering to connect a 9v logic battery. I did notice that You’ll have to set the baud rate, as the Flobot Studio can only search channels, not the baud rates. I’ll bet that could be fixed…

I’m looking forward to running a project over the Bluetooth Bee, another nice addition.

But to my subject. I was looking up “default baudrate” on a downloaded copy of the hardware manual. Pg 32 came up blank when I attempted to view with my OLD Adobe Acrobat Standard (6.0). I like it because it’s a full version, and I’m too cheap to update it all the time! I only use the Adobe viewer when on a laptop (free). both find the topic on Pg 31 properly, but no pages past 31 for my standard. My old standard version has been complaining about my “old” copy for a while… Maybe the PDF can be checked on an old 6.0 copy, and the PDF file made compatible with it.

A 9V battery should no longer be needed with the SSC-32U. Power VS1 should be enough.

Try pressing the Bluetooth button in FlowBotics - it will change the baud rate within FlowBotics to what the SSC-32U is set to by default.

We are using the free Adobe PDF reader and can see all the way to page 44. Not sure what issue you might be having.

Oh yeah, not sure what you’re calling the “Bluetooth button”, but I quickly used the baud rate button under the channel button to set the default baud rate.

PDF problem is because I like to use an OLD vers. 6 copy of Adobe. So there’s probably a new command or convention in the file that my old version warns me about and refuses to read. I’ve got a work around.

Newer FBS apps have a button which includes a Bluetooth icon, normally located around the baud rate.
