I have been looking at a cpu controlled robot for a long time and its holidays soon so this is my project I have a MSI mother board, a Intel Celeron 430 cpu and Basic computer bits to build a robot(prefibily wheeled I have a boe bot) that run on this hardware. I have no idea about the software or hardware connections

First of all I really hope that you know how to properly assemble a computer using compatible components as this is a robotics forum not a A+ class.
When it comes to having an entire computer on your bot you have a lot of options for controlling the hardware. Serial, ethernet, parallel, usb, and even firewire. The software options are even more diverse. You’re going to need to be much more specific if you’re wanting some useful information.
