Parts needed for project

Hi there! I have a stainless conical fermenter and wanted to configure and atlas scientific pH prob to read the pH of my beer in the fermenter. Is the “Tri-Clamp Probe Pipe Fitting“ all I need to be able to mount the pH probe into the tri clamp housing? Or I need something else to achieve this?

Thanks!
Josh

Hi @Lonno and welcome to our forum!

As I understand, you have this pH probe and this Tri-Clamp Probe Pipe Fitting?

These two are compatible but I don’t know what you have on the side of your “stainless conical fermenter”?

Yes those are the 2 parts that I was going to purchase together. I just wanted to know if that prob fitting is all I need to connect it to my fermenter? Or do I need another part? I understand I will need a tri clamp and gasket, but wasn’t sure if I needed another part?

Thanks

Hi @Lonno ,

I’ve just had a look at the user guide for this fitting:

It seems that these are usually mounted into the pipe. Do you also have a similar place for installation?

Also, I’ve seen that there is an industrial version of the probe and the fitting:

Okay, so I would need a pipe fitting plus the part I originally sent you? Thank you for the commercial version. My fermenter is only 55L, so I don’t think I’ll need that one that you shot over, unless the parts I sent won’t work

Thanks
Josh

Yes, I don’t see anything else at the moment, but how do you plan to install it? Same as described in the user guide, on a pipe?

I didn’t know if I could just take the fitting that I sent in my first message and tru clamp it to the vessel and the. Insert the ph probe into that fitting?
