OWI Trainer Arm USB connector

I just bough the OWI Trainer Arm and I wanted to program it on my PC, but I bought the wrong USB connector and now I realized that I can only find the correct connector for Windows XP/Vista. I have Windows 7 on my computer. Is there any device that is integrated with Windows 7, or will the current drivers for XP/Vista work? Or will I have to use XP or Vista?

I just got a reply from OWI and they don’t support Windows 7 because the model has been discontinued.

Hi jadams,

Welcome to the RobotShop Forum. We would suggest the USB interface for the OWI-535 / 007 Robot arms. The hardware is older and will likely not be updated since the Owi Arm Trainer was discontinued. It is compatible with XP, but likely not Vist / 7. If your version of Windows 7 has “XP compatibility mode” you may be safe.
