Orientation of Hagisonic StarGazer Landmarks

Hi,

When using the Hagisonic StarGazer, do the landmarks all have to be mounted in the same orientation for correct output of heading angle? Is there anyway within the mapping procedure to map the landmarks at different orientations?

The orientation is not important when mounting the landmarks, especially since the robot can be approaching them from any direction.
The camera system essentially looks for a specific pattern to determine which landmark it has reached.
