Open Air 3: cat sensor dial at bottom back of littler robot

Hi I am inquiring on the purpose and function of the cat sensor dial located at the bottom back. of the open air 3. I turned the dial thinking adjusting the sensor weight. what is the purpose and funciton of this cat sensor dial and when should I use it for what purpose?

Hi @mcaus You shouldn’t touch the dial. It’s okay if you have, but leave it as is.

It will change the default sensitivity of the Litter-Robot. You do not need to turn it, as the cat sensor system is dynamic.
