OLD DFRobot bluetooth module problem... older version of current RB-DFr-10

I’m using an older version of the RB-DFr-10 module that has since been replaced with a newer version. it is not the same module as the previous post in this forum. Mine is the yerobot.com version, and has no switches on it… it is the one shown in this pdf: robotshop.com/content/PDF/dfrobot-bluetooth-module-manual.pdf.

i can pair it and connect to it from the android device and the pc (i’m using 0000 as the pairing code… the new RB-DFr-10 version uses 1234). i see the light blink slow down when a connection is made.

my question is if and how can i change the baud rate?.. it will ultimately be connected to a device that uses 9600 baud and send data to the android device, but this bluetooth unit defaults to 115200 according to the doc, which isn’t very complete… there are no at commands listed in the manual and i’m not sure if it even supports the command mode. the radio used looks different from the current RB-DFr-10, and trying the at commands listed in that product’s manual didn’t work. on the module there are 7 pins on this thing: gnd, vcc, rst, rxd, txd, d-, d+ and i’m only using the gnd, vcc, rxd. do i need to use rst (reset) for anything before i can send at commands?

ok, so there is no way to send at commands to this module then?

To our knowledge the BT module you have is fixed at 115200.

Not to our knowledge. That is one of the reasons it was updated to the new version.
