My computer recognizes it and everythings gogo, but i sent the servo 0, 150 to mypicaxe correctly, and it gives it a slight yank, but randomly and very tiny yank, i think a wire in it might be faulty cause if i move the wires it would randomly yank. Whenever i press F5 as well, it does the yank, help please?
also how do you know if your
also how do you know if your Picaxe is fried from using a 9v?
Try the codeservo 0,
Try the code
servo 0, 150
pause 1000
servo 0, 200
pause 1000
servo 0, 150
pause 1000
servo 0, 100
This should make it look left and right. If you wiggle wires and it makes the servo move you probably don’t have a solid connection to the board. Did you solder the pin on the board for the servo? If so make sure it is tight and has a good connection.
Thanks mate that works
Thanks mate that works (the code) appreciate how well your helping some of us nooberts
** Think of the servo as a**
Think of the servo as a device that always looks south (180 degrees). Your code told it to look 150 degrees (or turn 30 degrees). Thats all it did so it jerked and then stopped. The code I gave you just told it to turn more. You could make it loop if you wanted it to move over and over.
No problem I’m learning too! If you look at my profile and click the link you’ll see I have completed ONE robot and I am working on my second. I’m just as much of a n00b as everyone else I just like to take it slow and learn more than I need to about the details.
