My PS2 controller no longer seems to sync up with the receiver on the hexapod. There is no red light (blinking or otherwise) on the PS2 reciever and the PS2 controller is blinking red as if if can’t locate the reciever.
All batteries are charged, with a fresh 9v. Anyone had this issue before? I check the connection and they look good. The botboard is able to power on and the it goes into 1500 all mode.
Rechecked the connection, everything is fitted. Checked the voltage reads ~5v (4.98 exactly), which I assume is enough for the PS2 controller.
Am I correct to assume its the receiver. I did notice right before the red light stopped, that it seemed to have a hard time walking. I chalked it up to low batteries but everything reads find.
Unless anyone else has another suggestion, looks like i’ll be ordering another receiver this weekend!
An idea of how you are determining if the battery is low might be the next question. A battery removed from the device might read charged, but when put into use it could drop the output voltage.
My apologies, I’m new to testing hardware. I do have the battery (9vdc) hooked up when testing the pins. When everything is hooked up,the green light on the reciever is on (not faint as far as I can tell) but the red light is not on nor is it blinking. The controller blinks continiously as it can not sync up.
Am I correct to assume there is a problem with the reciever?
Fresh batteries in the controller and fresh battery for the logics. Red light does not come on. I assume the green is for power, the red is for Tx/Rx of data.
I’m willing to order another one, just tyring to narrow down alternative possiblities.
