my ide cannot connect to atom pro. I am using “real” serial port and already adjusted my hold time starting from 10-100 but still i cant connect …is my atom pro defective? solid green light is on for power on bot board II but i noticed a blinking red light on A button. Is this normal? PLease help

in addition, even after i unplugged the power the red light on A button still blinks if the serial port is still connected…
It is hard to tell from your description.
Did it work before or is this your first attempt? What is hooked up. What is your power source(s) to the board? Have you tried recharging the battery or a new battery? If it were me, I would try disconnecting everything from the board except for the power and the serial cable and try. If this does not work, I would try to verify if my serial port is working properly and there are no hardware conflicts. If you do a Find Atom Pro from the tools/prefferences menu item does it see the Atom Pro?
