No start cycle and when I press reset, the yellow light blinks rapidly

Hi!

I require your help regarding a problem I’m encountering.

The sensors on my litter robot have never seemed to work correctly from the start (I often have had to press cycle manually to get rid of dirty litter) but now it is at the point where it does not work at all.

When I turn on the litter robot, it does not do the start cycle. It just has the blue ready button flashing. When I press cycle nothing happens. But if I press reset, the yellow button flashes rapidly.

I have taken it apart to clean it and to make sure the anti-pinch sensor is touching, which it seems to be. I’m at a loss now as to what the problem is and (more importantly) how to fix it so my cats can use it again!

Kind regards,
Julie

Hi @JulieC

We are sorry to hear about the problem.

Please give us your order ID and a serial number of the robot. You can find it on the base.

Hello ,

Thank you for your reply. My order ID is 1069375.

Is the serial number listed as the P/N on the base? If yes, it is LR3-1012.

Kind regards,

Julie

Hi @JulieC

Thank you for your reply.

Serial number is located on a silver label on the back of the base under black key.

It should be in format LR3CIXXXXXX. You can send us a photo of it.

The serial number is LR3CI225848.

Thanks for your help.

Kind regards,
Julie

Hi @JulieC

Thank you for your reply.

Please try these troubleshooting steps and tell us the result: Litter-Robot III Open Air - Blue Blinking Light

The issue is not a blue blinking light, but a rapid yellow blinking light (as mentioned in my original post). I have already followed the troubleshooting guidelines for the rapid yellow blinking light and it has not helped at all.
