Hey,
As Italian_guy said this is my voice controlled robot. It is going to be a 6WD bot but I still have to order two more motors and wheels. It is made out of acrylic plexi-glass that I machined on a milling machine. the extra holes are just to lighten it up a bit.
It will hopefully be controlled using this speech recognition kit:
imagesco.com/kits/speech-recognition-kit.html
with the electrical relay kit mentioned on this page:
imagesco.com/speech/speech-recognition-interface.html
My bot is not totally complete yet I still have to add the diamond plate bumbers which need to be formed to the bot.
Hope everybody likes it,
Nick
Hello Nickweaver
I have never used Imageso.com speech recognition.
I assume you bought it and used it.
How is it?
Does it recognize instantly, or you have to say a few time before it recognizes the command?
Good luck with your project.
Did you glue the pieces together and if so how and whit what?

Hey,
Yeah I purchased the pre-built speech recognizer and have done a few simple tests so far. It takes about a 1/4 of a second to recognize the word. I am going to try to make it perform a simple task with the interface kit and see how long that takes. will post here on completion. You also only have to say the word once
On the topic of the glue I used a Ethyl Cyanoacrylate glue made by this company:(It is the one in the green coloured container)
flashglue.com/HTML/NHP_frameset.html
I also used a accelerator made by the same company but that is not really necessary
