NI-MH battery pack

I am after a replacement rechargeable battery pack for a Solar powered parasol. The spec is NI-MH AA1600mAh 6V. I see one on Robotshop web site but the connector appears to be larger than on the one to be replaced. Do these battery packs come with different size connectors ? Or is it possible to reuse the existing connector somehow ?

@BruceRotherham Replacing the connector on a battery pack is not easy (you need the correct crimping too, and you also risk making contact between positive and ground (causing a short circuit). It tends to be safer to make an adapter cable and terminal block (if you don’t want to do soldering). One one end you would have the connector from the original battery (you’d need to cut it off, one wire at a time, and ensuring the two wires don’t contact each other - use electrical tape to cover the ends), and for the other end, hopefully there’s a mating connector.

If this is the battery, it uses a Tamiya connector:

You’d need to cut the ends off the cable above to use a terminal block.
Weird, but RobotShop doesn’t have any terminal blocks at this time. Most electronics stores should, and you can cut off the terminals you don’t need (you only need two).

Thanks for your helpful reply. Yes, I was looking at the pack with the Tamiya connector - which is not the same as on my existing battery pack. It sounds beyond my technical expertise, but good to know it is not straight forward and what is required. I am also exploring the possibility of refurbishing the existing battery pack - which may be the better solution as then don’t have any issue with the connector.
