I am now accepting pre-orders for my Apeiros Servo Gripper Robot.Apeiros is based upon the STMicroelectronics Nucleo F401RE development board. A custom designed servo gripper mechanism gives Apeiros the ability to grab and move objects. Imagine all of the fun you’ll have creating new programs for a robot that can easily manipulate its environment!
Apeiros software will be released under General Public License (GPL) Version 3. All hardware designs will be released under Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License. This means that you can dig in and learn how/why something was designed and then change it meet the requirements of your own project(s). Think of all the great learning opportunities.I plan to ship pre-orders in December 2014.
