Newbie question :oops:

hello folks!
I’m doing a project that will involve 10 motors (2 servo or possibly all will be servos)
I was reading LM user manuals and I still don’t get it:

  1. when is it madndatory to use the SSC32 controller?
    I saw few diagrams when the bot board was controlling the servos directly, I this the number of I/O on bot board will be enough for me.

  2. the Basic Atom carrier is the CPU of the bot board, right? it’s a chip that sits on it? is there any special wiring options?

  1. you tynically dont NEED to use the SSC-32 any time, but it is very useful for when you are making aBiped or arm move, the simple interface makes it incredibly easy to use

  2. there is the Basic Atom which plugs into the Mini Atom Board Board and there are no special wiring options, it simply drops and and your off and running
