Newbie needs help with 755 24V motor replacement

I am trying to replace a motor for a Ryobi Hedge Trimmer with the following markings:
LESHI MOTOR
755ZF-73241
24.0 V
110315/H

I have no understanding on how to decode the markings other than the model of the motor and the voltage. I have gotten as far as finding 755 motors with voltage range 12-24V, but the models vary with regard to rpm so I am unsure which to get. I have researched extensively for specifications for the original motor listed above, but have been unable to find the RPM specs for that motor. As can be seen below, there is a big difference between 4900 rpm and 9200 rpm. Any help on how to make the correct choice would be greatly appreciated.

No Load     Max Eff       At Stall
Model V RPM Amps RPM Amps Torque Watts Amps Torque

Thank you for your help.

Sorry, I’m not very good at html and can’t figure out how to get the columns to line up correctly :frowning:

Hi @usmyrmss and welcome to our forum

I’ve done a quick search on a manufacturer’s website for that motor: http://www.leshimotor.com/en/

I couldn’t find that exact model. I think that they probably designed that special motor just for that Ryobi Hedge Trimmer.

Anyway, I’ve found two similar models:

As I see, all of these have high RPM. So, my guess would be that you should choose highest RPM that you can.

But this also doesn’t guarantee you that everything will work as before.

So my last suggest is to maybe contact manufacturer (Leshi Motors) and ask them for a specification of that motor or maybe even they can sell it to you?

Thank you so much for your help.

Good advice. I have had a heck of a time just finding a 755 for a decent price.

775 is the wrong size to fit the case. I ordered one previously to see if it would work.
